Well, have you prepared everything yet?
Ordered generator sets, camping toilets and canned food from Kopp-Verlag, just as a former pop singer recommends? No? Then you're late, because on September 24th. it rumbles! Friedrich Merz is said to have hinted at this, and an episode of The Simpsons (which some people apparently haven't even seen) is also said to suggest this. So let’s dive headfirst into this conspiracy myth!
Friedrich Merz and his slip of the tongue
“This September 24, 2022 will remain in our memories as a day of which we will later say: 'I still remember exactly where I was'.”
Friedrich Merz
Merz actually said this sentence in a speech on February 27th. in the German Bundestag (see HERE , from second 30). What Merz is referring to becomes clear in the rest of the sentence:
“‘I still remember exactly where I was when I saw the first news of the war in Ukraine and the first pictures of it. '“
The rest of Friedrich Merz's sentence
Because of course his speech was about Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, which began three days earlier. You can immediately hear murmurs of “February, February” in the background when he mistakenly said “September”, but that doesn’t bother many people: only the first part of the sentence is spread on social media and the assumption is that Merz “ knows something ” – even if the passage was corrected in the transcript of the speech
From Merz to the Simpsons
For conspiracy mythists, the slip of the tongue was no coincidence, because they are unanimously of the opinion that there are no coincidences - which is why they have now dug deep into the conspiracy box and dug out an old Simpsons episode that is supposed to confirm that it happened on September 24th. There will at least be a major power outage, if not the end of the world.

In season 24, episode 9 of The Simpsons (reinterpreted as September 24th, because conspiracy myths often believe that everything is encrypted with numbers) you can actually see an EMP blackout that Homer triggered out of negligence because it was caused by a "prepper". is convinced that the world will soon end, now also firmly believes that the world will end soon.
What's interesting is that Homer triggered a self-fulfilling prophecy: Precisely because he believed in the end of the world soon, he triggered a "mini end of the world", a power outage in Springfield. But the irony behind it seems to have been lost on some.
As a result, the end-of-the-world paranoids are targeted: Homer no longer concentrates on his obligations and only mentally lives in fear of the end of the world - which, however, was only a power outage that he triggered himself.
Incidentally, this “end of the world” turns out to be disappointing for the “prepper” : instead of seeing Springfield sink into chaos, the residents have adapted to the situation and continue to live their normal lives in a helpful manner – just without electricity for a while while the “ Preppers” turned out to be a selfish bunch that Homer no longer wants to live with.
Let's note: So a Simpsons episode that first aired in 2013 "prophesied" a blackout/end of the world in 2022, which of course was already planned by the Freemasons back then? Really now???
From power outage to end of the world – let the clickbait begin!
We find it a little sad that a site that has the word “fact” in its name has turned the topic into horrible clickbait with false photos. This is how the post from that site begins (archived HERE ):

- No, the Simpsons didn't prophesy this, it's what conspiracy mythists claim using confusing trains of thought
- The image in the article comes from a completely different episode, namely from season 26, episode 4 (Treehouse of Horror XXV, German title: Hell, Death and Ghosts), in which Bart and Lisa accidentally end up in a demonic school
- Have the Simpsons predicted the future “many times”? More like “as good as ever” (see our articles HERE ). For example, Trump's election was a topic in a 2000 episode because he was already running for president at the time. The fact that he actually became president in 2016 cannot really be used as a prophecy
- As already mentioned above: The episode is not about the end of the world, but about an EMP blackout triggered by Homer himself and about “preppers” who believe in the end of the world soon and live accordingly
Let's summarize
- A slip of the tongue by Friedrich Merz is now causing an uproar among conspiracy mythists - the second half of the sentence is (un)knowingly omitted, as otherwise the excitement wouldn't quite work
- The broadcast order of a Simpsons episode from 2013 is changed to September 24th, 2022 and false claims about the content of the episode are also being spread
- A slip of the tongue + an old Simpsons episode = waving your arms wildly, running in circles screaming and shouting “THE END IS NEAR!”
We're just making a tough promise to you that there won't be a huge power outage or the end of the world on September 24th. And if you do, you can no longer complain about it because the power is gone. 😉

This is probably the final proof: a mosquito with a number can apparently be seen in a TikTok video.
Are they used for surveillance? Are these vaccine mosquitoes? Is it even a mosquito? What are we really seeing? – Bill Gates’ numbered vaccine mosquitoes (or not)
