How can you protect yourself?

In order not to become a victim yourself, you should pay particular attention to the following tips.

  1. All emails sent by Amazon and its employees refer to the ending “@amazon.de”
  2. The URL of further links from the messages from Amazon always begins with “ https://www.amazon.de ” and contains neither numbers nor special characters, but only dots as separators.
  3. Anyone who can read has a clear advantage. Poor wording and spelling errors can be a sign that fraud is involved.
  4. Change your password regularly and consider whether entering your personal data is actually necessary and useful.

Where can you report a scam?
