An image of a newspaper clipping caused a lot of excitement among Facebook users in September 2019. What exactly was it about?
It was about the question “HIV infection in the cinema?”
The excerpt is about a warning with the title: “It's hard to believe, but unfortunately true!”. This incident allegedly occurred in a cinema in Cologne. A person sat on something sharp. It was a needle stuck into the seat. On this one there was a note with the following content: “You have just been infected by HIV”. It is this newspaper clipping:

Our fact check of HIV infection in the cinema!
Unfortunately, what we couldn't find out is when this article came from and in which newspaper it was published. You can see part of the “Neue Lübecker” logo on the edge, but you can’t see any date.
However, we have known the content itself for years. This dates back to 2007 and read:
READ AND FORWARD!!!
This happened in a cinema in Cologne . A few weeks ago in a movie theater a person sat on something pointy that was on one of the seats. When she sat up again to see what it was, she found a needle stuck into the seat with a note attached: "You have just been infected by HIV." The Disease Control Center reports several similar events that have recently occurred in several other cities. All needles tested ARE HIV positive. The center reports that needles were also found in the money return recesses of public machines (tickets, parking, etc.). They ask everyone to be extremely careful in such situations. All public chairs must be examined with vigilance and caution before use. A meticulous visual inspection should be sufficient. They also encourage everyone to convey this message to all members of your family and friends. Thanks. This is very important!!! Think you can save a life by spreading this message. PLEASE take a few seconds of your time to read and forward the message. LKA public relations
It is part of a whole series of hoaxes and chain letters that we reported on in 2012.

the following information back in 2007 :
11/23/2007 / State Criminal Police Office: For a few days now, a hoax report has been making the rounds claiming that the “LKA Public Relations” had sent out a warning about HIV-contaminated syringes in Cologne cinemas. There have been no such cases.
Result:
The content of the newspaper clipping is a so-called urban legend that never happened. It is not clear which newspaper this screenshot was taken from. The same also applies to the date of publication. The police themselves made it clear in 2007 that this case did not exist.
