The time had come in November. Finally there was a long-awaited product! Because there is only one internet speed: zl (too slow). At least that's what pretty much every Internet user thinks and would like it to be a bit faster.
A manufacturer seems to be jumping into this market niche, namely getting twice as fast internet at a relatively low price, whose supposedly groundbreaking product is being touted on various pages on Facebook:

Various sites praise this product, it is said to have even been presented on the program “Lion’s Den” and on various TV channels:

What do these providers actually allow themselves? So normally we would all have incredibly fast internet here, but the providers, these scoundrels, just throttle it?
Let's see if we can find more information in the article!

“CONSTANT WIFI INTERRUPTIONS DRIVE ME INSANE AT HOME
BRING SUPERFAST WIFI TO YOUR HOME AND GET FULL RECEPTION ANYWHERE
INCREDIBLY FAST INTERNET BOTH IN YOUR GARDEN AND IN THE BASEMENT
DON’T PAY YOUR GREEDY PROVIDER A CENT EXTRA”
...it literally SCREAMS at you!
In the course of the article, the provider builds up various scenarios that, and this should be said up front, rely on the ignorance of the users. It describes how greedy the providers are to charge 50 euros more for faster internet, how the stream stops when you walk from the living room to the balcony with your cell phone, and how the internet wouldn't actually get any faster if you upgraded his tariff.
This brings us to the first little conspiracy theory in the article:
“But I have a secret for you here. And I'm just telling you: The basic tariff you originally had, which supposedly had a speed that was too slow, is actually more than fast enough.
“Only you.” So just me and the thousands who also read the site. Makes sense!
The next step is to explain what evil the provider does:
it ensures that you don't have Wi-Fi everywhere in the house! Because it only lets the signal radiate from a tiny antenna. But with this new product you have WiFi everywhere in the house!
Wait a moment!
Something's not right! speed just mentioned? And suddenly it's about range ?
These are two completely different things! It doesn't matter whether your internet is 16,000 kbit/s or 100,000 kbit/s: that has absolutely no influence on the range of a signal!
That number only describes the speed of the Internet, but not the signal strength !
A “brilliant new product”?
The provider now promises a remedy:
With its “brilliant new product”, which was created using “military technology” (“military technology” always does well, no matter what you sell), this is all a thing of the past.
It goes even further: This technology was used to rescue the children of the Thai football club from the flooded cave! And Indiana Jones used it to find the Ark of the Covenant! Okay, no, it doesn't say the latter, but we wouldn't have been surprised.
“Shut up and take my money!”
How much does the miracle product actually cost? Let's take a look at the product page:

Wow, a whopping $52.99. But that one-time price should be worth doubling our internet speed, right?
But why does the product say “repeater” when it’s supposed to be a “booster”?
Because it's a simple WiFi repeater!
WiFi repeaters are not a “brilliantly new” product. They don't double your internet speed either!
But they repeat (“repeat”) the WLAN signal that the router has picked up and pass it on. This means that it is actually possible to have WiFi in rooms in the apartment where reception was previously not possible.
But spend 53 dollars, or just under 47 euros?
This is usury, because on Amazon, , such devices are available from just 8.99 euros.

Conclusion
A product is being advertised here with false promises (“internet twice as fast”) that is absolutely overpriced and not at all new: a WLAN repeater .
To advertise the product, false information is provided, for example that it has already been seen on various TV channels and in “Lion's Den”.
speed of the Internet is thrown together here range of the WiFi signal: To the layperson, their explanation sounds plausible, but technically this is nonsense.
We therefore advise against purchasing this product, which is overpriced and advertised with false promises!
