Transfer and the process.

Mario Rönsch has been in custody since March 28, 2018. At the same time as the detention, publications on the Anonymousnews.ru website and associated social media channels also stopped. For a long time nothing was heard about the process and the transfer from Hungary to Germany, until suddenly on June 12, 2018 the website Anonymousnews.ru published articles again.

Since then, articles have appeared almost every day, the most recent article is dated June 27, 2018, so it is already two days old. The new publications aroused media interest again, and the question was whether Mario Rönsch was still imprisoned in Hungary. In response to these inquiries, the police announced that the transfer would be delayed slightly because Rönsch had lodged a complaint. For example, one can see from the Thueringer General :

The Hungarian authorities had agreed to the extradition request, but the 34-year-old had lodged a complaint against it, a spokesman for the Berlin public prosecutor's office said on Tuesday. It remains unclear when a decision will be made on the complaint, said the spokesman.

In the end, a rendition!

On June 28, 2018, the Berlin Public Prosecutor's Office announced that Rönsch had been transferred to Berlin. In this it reads:

Berlin General Prosecutor's Office
Berlin Public Prosecutor's Office

The operator of the website “Migrant Terror” who is believed to be responsible was transferred to Germany today by the Hungarian authorities at the instigation of the Berlin Public Prosecutor’s Office.

As part of legal assistance with Hungary, 34-year-old Mario R. was extradited to Berlin by air this afternoon, accompanied by two police officers from the Berlin State Criminal Police Office, and arrived at Berlin-Schönefeld Airport at 4 p.m.

The Berlin public prosecutor's office had previously obtained a European arrest warrant against him, which the Hungarian authorities executed in Budapest on March 28, 2018. Since the accused had objected to his transfer to Germany, the extradition could only take place on the basis of a final decision by the Hungarian courts that had been final for a few days.

The arrest warrant will be announced to the accused tomorrow.

The investigations into illegal trading and importation of weapons, sedition and defamation are ongoing. When the accused was arrested, the Hungarian police were able to secure extensive evidence, which is now being evaluated by Berlin investigators.

Meanwhile, the Berlin Public Prosecutor's Office announced on Twitter that other criminally relevant websites were also being investigated to this extent.

We will write an update on how the process continues in this article.

Charges with illegal arms trafficking via the “Migrant Terror” internet platform

Berlin Public Prosecutor’s Office: The operator of “Migrant Terror” is charged!

The Berlin public prosecutor's office has brought charges against 34-year-old Mario R. before a large criminal chamber of the Berlin regional court for illicit arms trafficking.

The accused is accused of having operated the illegal online weapons mail order business “Migrant Terror” from Hungary between May and November 2016. For a purchase price of between 250 euros and 750 euros each, he is said to have delivered various weapons that require a permit in this country in almost 200 cases, mainly to customers in Germany.

Provisionally secured sales proceeds of over 100,000 euros are to be confiscated as part of the criminal proceedings.

The accused has been in custody since his arrest in Budapest on March 28, 2018 and was transferred to Germany on June 28, 2018.

Separate investigations are being carried out against those who purchase weapons.
