The claim

It is alleged that an overweight Green Party politician was appointed as the representative for overweight people.

Our conclusion

The screenshot is a fake that is aimed solely at so-called fat shaming, i.e. making fun of overweight people.

In political mudslinging, it is very popular to discuss the appearance of politicians - which is absolutely not an argument, but that doesn't really bother friends of the rather shallow sense of humor. And if nothing really useful can be found, a screenshot is simply faked and presented as “ not a fake ”.
A good example of this is the alleged screenshot of a press release, according to which the Green Party politician Anja Stahmann is taking over the office of “anti-obesity” representative. But it is a fake that only serves to make fun of the politician's weight (so-called fat shaming).

The fake

Not only the fans of a particular party, but also one of their MPs posted the fake screenshot in March, which is still spreading:

What should obesity be?

“Asipositas” is a corruption of the term obesity (being very overweight due to a chronic illness ). In colloquial language, obesity obese people in “ uneducated social classes ” whose obesity is not due to a medical condition, but rather to overeating while watching private television.

There is neither a press release nor an “anti-obesity” representative

“Asipositas” is purely colloquial and therefore certainly not a name for a position. But even if you suspect that it is a “random” spelling mistake and means obesity, you won’t find it: there never was . And even if it had existed, at least some press media would have reported on it.

The fake press release has been circulating for almost two months now, but Anja Stahmann's CV has not changed: she has been Senator for Social Affairs, Youth, Integration and Sport since August 2019.

Conclusion

The fake screenshot is nothing more than fat-shaming: it claims that an overweight politician would become a representative for overweight people, which is supposed to prove the Greens' "crazy politics".
However, the fake only proves that the “humor” of certain people is rather subterranean.
