There is currently a post doing the rounds on Facebook about the fact that there is an innovation in schools - namely, "Arabic" would be made compulsory as a second living foreign language.
Arabic as a second living foreign language? Some users may be unsettled here, and so we kept receiving inquiries about this topic . Others commented on this “innovation” directly on Facebook with: “ And it continues… ,” as you can see from this screenshot.

What is it about exactly?
A report appeared on the “meinbezirk.at” website announcing that in Zell am See and Kaprun (Austria) from the 2021/22 school year in the NMS (New Middle School), Arabic will now be the second language in addition to English Foreign language is made compulsory.
Quote:
In the future, children from the 5th grade in the Zell am See-Kaprun region will be taught spoken and written Arabic in addition to regular English lessons. A corresponding instruction to redesign the timetables was issued by the school authorities at the beginning of November.
“And it continues…” – that’s what we thought too.
The power of images, the power of headlines! If you were to read the article listed to the end, which we at Mimikama always recommend, then you would realize that this is a joke, because at the end of the article it says “(Attention carnival!)” and this indicates point out that this is a carnival joke. There is an exception here, namely if the author is called “Attention Fasching”, but we are not assuming that.
