A robot with a gun: Not necessarily the smartest idea, as those familiar with films like “Terminator” or “Robocop” know.
The most important thing about the robot in brief:
- In a video, a robot handles weapons very skillfully
- Supposedly you can see the next generation of combat robots in the video
- However, the robot was only created on the computer; the recordings are not real
In a short video that is repeatedly uploaded to Facebook, you can see a very skillful and precise two-legged robot that acts with extraordinary agility.

You can see the complete video here, which can usually only be found in shortened form on Facebook:
Apparently the “fighting machine” not only isn’t distracted by anything, neither by kicks, punches or bees, but even shows a kind of moral behavior at the end of the video when he refuses to kill a robot dog and instead flees with it.

Who is Bosstown Dynamics?
Facebook makes it too easy: Anyone can upload videos, hardly anyone checks the source, no one makes an effort to see what the company “Bosstown Dynamics”, whose name you can see in at least some of the videos, actually does.
In fact, there is an engineering and robotics design company called Boston Dynamics that designs mobile robots that can be used for a variety of tasks. The company “ Bosstown Dynamics”, on the other hand, is a pure fantasy company of the creative minds of the YouTube channel “Corridor ”.
In Boston Dynamics' YouTube videos, you can often see the robots being kicked, pushed and punched to demonstrate how well developed their sense of balance is. “Corridor” thought this a little further: What if “Boston Dynamics” also develops military robots (which cannot be ruled out)?
So they invented the company “Bosstown Dynamics” and made a parody of the videos of the real robot developers with lots of CGI effects and bizarre humor. You can see how much work goes into this in this making of video:
You can already see in the preview image that no real machines were used in the video, but rather people were recorded using “motion capture”, which then become robots in the video.

Conclusion
It is still uncertain whether machines will one day be as good (and dangerous) as in the video. However, the video above is pure CGI art.
