A face with injuries, a text that speaks of an attack by asylum seekers. This posting makes many people angry, but the relevant information is not mentioned.

Summary of the posting with the content “Asylum seeker attack”:

The posting is already four years old. It caused a stir for a few days in 2016 before it was deleted. The police said at the time that they had no information.

Every year again. That would be the alternative title to the posting on Facebook , in which a man can be seen who appears to be injured. The posting states that he was attacked by three asylum seekers.

This exact posting has now resurfaced; it was revived at the end of February 2020. The posting from 2016 has been republished in the form of a screenshot. You read:

What we know about the “Asylee Attack” screenshot:

The original status post “Asylant raid” was created on January 12, 2016, and this screenshot was taken about an hour later. We were already active on this status report in mid-January 2016, but there was never a confirmed report about it.

The police have no information or clues about this attack.

We were in contact with the relevant police headquarters in the hometown of the poster creator and they had no information about an “asylum seeker attack” or any evidence of this attack. The fact that the status report disappeared again quite quickly raised further doubts about the authenticity of the information.

Therefore, it will not be possible to say with any clarity whether this information from the text is fabricated or not.
