Various status posts about the Chico case have been doing the rounds on Facebook for a few hours, and we have received an enormous number of inquiries about them.

Various contents were allegedly taken from the files of the Hanover Veterinary Office as well as from the files of the responsible police, at least that's what various creators of the status posts write.
What do the Hanover police say about these status posts?
