The claim
The photo of a newspaper advertisement is intended to show that the BAMF is looking for extras for demonstrations against the right and protests against deportations.
Our conclusion
This ad is fake. It has been circulating on social media for five years. The BAMF never looked for extras.
Well, who remembers? “We are hiring: extras m/f” – this is how an advertisement supposedly from the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) begins. We are looking for “corpulent people (m/f) ” who would make themselves available “for taking pictures and videos for demonstrations against the right and protests against deportations” Of course, the effort is compensated with a minimum wage plus allowances, travel costs are covered and meals are provided.

The fact check
The sharepic has been circulating on social media platforms since 2017 and appears again from time to time - including in 2022. The fake advert originated on the now blocked Twitter account “Daily Fake News”. At the time it was also called the “Satirical Daily News” – so we are dealing with satire, which of course is no longer recognizable today.
At mimikama's request, the BAMF made it clear that no extras were and will not be sought for a video shoot. We expressly distance ourselves from the Sharepic. Real job offers can be found BAMF website
Excursus on the topic of “minimum wage”
The BAMF is a federal authority of the Federal Republic of Germany. collective agreement for the public service (TVöD) applies to federal authorities , including the pay scale (TVöD-EGO), which in turn applies to BAMF civil servants.
This means that people employed by the BAMF are paid according to salary groups that are set out in a TVöD salary table. The BAMF would never state “minimum wage” in an authentic job advertisement. The TVöD pay scale applies.
Conclusion
The sharepic is fake.
It was first published on a satirical site in 2017 and has appeared again and again since then without citing the source.
The Federal Office for Migration and Refugees was never looking for extras.
