The claim
An alleged BBC video reports that Poland wants to send troops to Ukraine.
Our conclusion
No other source can be found for the claim. The claim cannot be found on the BBC's website, neither current nor archived. All evidence points to a propaganda fake.
Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine is also an information war on the Internet, whereby the greatest weakness is often exploited: a lack of media literacy.
Images and videos are believed without checking the claims or the sources, sometimes out of laziness, but sometimes not knowing how something can be verified. But this is often not that difficult.
For example, an alleged BBC video is circulating in which it is reported that Poland wants to send troops to Ukraine, which would be tantamount to actively joining the war. But neither the BBC nor any other news agency reported on it, which is easily verifiable.
The video
Various archive recordings and a document can be seen in the portrait video. It is suggested that Poland is preparing to send troops to Ukraine, with military vehicles and personnel visible in the background. The formatting of the text and the use of the BBC logo the video credible.

Source: None
The easiest way to check the authenticity is to simply use Google or other search engines to see whether other established media are reporting on it, as this would not exactly be an insignificant report. But nothing can be found, anywhere.
So we just look on the BBC website and look for such a report (see HERE ), but there too: none. Next, let's look at archived versions of the page (see HERE ), because perhaps the message has since been deleted, but nothing can be found there either.
Maybe the video was only published on social networks, for example Twitter? So we search all the BBC Twitter accounts for the keywords “Polish”, “Troops” and “Ukraine” (see HERE ), but the video cannot be found there either.
The document shown in the video, which is supposed to show the order to mobilize the troops, is also being examined by various sources, but more and more errors and inconsistencies are being found in it.
A spokesman for Poland's Special Services Coordinator also tweeted about the alleged letter, stating that a "fake order from a Polish general, created for propaganda purposes, was used in disinformation operations against Poland."
Let's summarize
- No other media reported on Poland mobilizing to send troops to Ukraine
- There is no such report or video to be found on the BBC's website or Twitter channels, either current or in archived versions
- The document shown has several errors and inconsistencies, such as an obviously photoshopped date
The video appears to have first appeared on some pro-Russian Telegram channels, and from there it was spread to Twitter and Facebook.
All evidence suggests that the video and the corresponding report are a propaganda fake.

In a video, a freight train with dozens of tanks can be seen driving through a Finnish city.
Apparently they were being transported to the Russian border. Finnish tanks are going to exercise, not to the Russian border
