The current case shows the perfidious, unscrupulous and ruthless, but unfortunately also skillful approach of the fraudsters.
“Only those who know the tricks of the fraudsters can protect themselves and others from becoming victims of these mean and ruthless criminals by passing on the methods. The fraudsters are constantly inventing new stories, varying the stories, adapting to current events or events and incorporating experiences into their behavior.”

Clever scam: Shock call from fake police officers 2.0
The scam took place on Tuesday, February 21st and lasted for almost three hours. The senior citizen from a northern district community received a call from a crying woman. The caller, supposedly the daughter, reported an accident she caused in which a child died. The conversation was taken over by a supposed police officer who ultimately demanded a deposit of EUR 65,000.00 because of the threat of pre-trial detention for her daughter. Up to this point, this is a very typical approach used by fraudsters when using this scam.
The police repeatedly reported this scam, which is why the well-informed senior citizen became suspicious. She called the “police officer” a fraud and ended the conversation.
Perfidious: a second “fake police officer”
In this case, however, the attempted fraud did not end there. The fraudsters' further procedure did not yet exist in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district. Shortly after the end of the first phone call, a man answered the phone and introduced himself as “Police Officer Flütter” from the fraud commission. He spoke to the elderly woman about the previous phone call about the attempted fraud by the “wrong police officer”. He added that he knew about the phone call from telephone surveillance. He then asked the elderly woman whether she would be willing to help catch these “criminals,” to which she agreed.
Instructions and instructions were now given as to what the senior citizen should do to enable her to be arrested when collecting the assets. As instructed, she drove to the Edeka parking lot on Alte Kasseler Straße, placed the bag with the assets under her car and left as discussed. The elderly woman saw a young man in dark clothing bend down, take the bag and then disappear. The announced arrest did not take place. There is no further description of the person collecting the item.
Looking for witnesses
Who was in the Edeka parking lot on Tuesday at the time in question, especially around 5 p.m., and observed the behavior of the young man dressed in dark clothing? Who can describe the man in more detail? Who saw where this man went or what car he got into? Who has made any other suspicious observations in the Edeka parking lot? Who has e.g. B. Have you seen people standing around or apparently waiting? Who has seen people in the car who didn't get out for a long time? Who has noticed one or more cars with foreign license plates?
