We would like to URGENTLY warn you about the following WhatsApp message that is currently making the rounds.

This says:
Find out who your friends are chatting with
Now you can see...Well finally! From now on you can see who your contacts are chatting with on WhatsApp
(LINK)
This message is usually sent by a contact you already have in your list. In other words, the sender is no stranger to you.
Why is my friend doing this?
The reason for this is that the sender is almost “forced” to do so. Because he “had” to send the message to 10 contacts.
If a user / acquaintance / has now forwarded the message to 10 contacts, then this will be redirected to a dubious page.
A NOTICE! So that we don't fall into any cell phone subscription traps during our analysis, we have installed a THIRD PARTY BLOCK.
That's why we now see this notice:
However, we know from another case, which was also used via WhatsApp with the same words, that dubious competitions are always hidden behind such promises.
Cheers to third-party blocking!
Third-party blocking protects against subscription traps!
The different mobile phone providers usually allow you to set up the blocking in different levels.
At the highest level, depending on the provider, you can no longer use the company's value-added services.
But let's be honest, who has actually used a value-added service from a mobile phone service provider?! Send postcards via MMS?! News tickers or weather forecasts etc?! We now do all of this using dedicated apps and a mobile internet connection.
Paying online with your phone
The so-called “carrier payment” also includes the possibility of paying online via mobile phone.
For this purpose, a PIN code is usually sent via SMS, which must be entered on the website to authorize payment.
How can I set up the lock?
Setting up the block is usually easy for mobile phone providers via customer service:
In Germany:
- Telekom: 2202 (from a mobile phone) or 0800 3 30 22 02 (landline) – both free of charge
