A fatal mistake could happen if you often log into Facebook from your cell phone.
Be careful when logging into Facebook: why is it risky? If you don't use the Facebook app but the mobile browser, you should be careful. Mobile browsers have some weaknesses that fraudsters often exploit. One of them can happen when you scroll down and can no longer read the browser address bar. There's a chance that someone has recreated the Facebook login page so that at first glance it looks like normal. It could only be recognized by a different spelling of the URL. If you fall for this “trick”, fraudsters can use the data you entered and hijack your account. Therefore, always make sure that you only log in to facebook.com.
Hot tip: Two-factor authentication
To better protect your Facebook login, two-factor authentication is recommended. This requires additional identification when logging in on a device with which you log in to Facebook for the first time. If someone else tries to log in, you will be informed here and can avoid unauthorized access.

Two-factor authentication can be activated directly via the settings in the Facebook app or via the Facebook website under “Settings – Security and Login”.
Absolutely necessary: A secure password
Apart from the security provided by two-factor authentication, a secure password is essential. A mix of letters, numbers and special characters in upper and lower case is a good start.
