In an investigation into commercial and gang fraud, the West Palatinate Police Headquarters and the Kaiserslautern Public Prosecutor's Office are looking for witnesses throughout the German-speaking region who were harmed by the acts outlined below or who can provide information about them.
In 2020 and 2021, entrepreneurs from a wide range of industries who needed financing capital and were therefore looking for investors were brought into contact with alleged investors from the United Arab Emirates through intermediaries.

The alleged investors appeared using the following company names and email addresses:
- (The) Emirates Net – emirates.net@outlook.com
- Gulf Holding Foundation Inc. (Gulf Foundation for short) – gulffoundation@outlook.com
- Emirates Holding – To Emirates Group Corporation (short: Emirates Holding Group) – info@emiratesholding.org
- Pacific Ventures LLC – pacificventures@outlook.com or PV.LLC@outlook.com
- EIN International (short: EIN)
Similar names to real existing companies or companies are deliberately used. You can find the company logos on the Rhineland-Palatinate police's wanted page at https://s.rlp.de/yBdza on the Internet.
The entrepreneurs, who, based on the information provided by the intermediaries and the alleged investors, believed in the possibility that they would actually receive funds for their projects, paid enormous sums that were invoiced to them by the alleged investors and which were supposedly necessary to boost the financing (e.g. travel costs, registration fees, reports, investments and insurance) or were intended to serve as supposed security.
The payments were made to accounts of “EIN International” (EIN), at Emirates NBD Bank, IBAN: AE930260001012218835501 or “Alsediq Commercial Broker” (other spellings: Alsedeq/Alsedq), also at Emirates NBD Bank, IBAN: AE530260001012279727001.

The promised financing ultimately did not materialize. In all known cases, the project operators were continually put off and, over time, new requirements, which involved additional costs, were repeatedly put forward for the supposedly imminent payment of the financing.
Police publish logos of alleged investors
Investigators now hope that more victims will come forward. The logos of the alleged investor companies are stored on the wanted page of the Rhineland-Palatinate police.
The police and public prosecutor's office are investigating and asking for information: Who had contact with the alleged investors? How was the contact made?
Who made payments to the alleged investors? The Kaiserslautern police will receive information on 0631 369-2620 or by email at investmentbetrug@polizei.rlp.de .
