Competition organizers entice participants with a Billa voucher and try to entice participants to make expensive telephone calls.
“Can you find the shopping bag?” – with this hook the competition organizers try to attract participants via social media platforms such as Facebook.
We follow the link offered and immediately receive a warning from Kaspersky : We run the risk of losing our data. If you don't have any protection software, you will be redirected directly to a website.
We already know this type of competition very well. The process is usually completely identical. It's about a so-called lead - lead generation is about attracting interested parties. To make the lead attractive, the creators use well-known brands and companies.

But the competition only serves as bait, because the supposed raffle date is often far in the future and the participant is supposed to make their data available to a list of sponsors. Such competitions have been available on Facebook for years.
The method has 3 steps: the bait, the bridge (a survey), the conclusion.
Competition: detailed analysis
First of all, this competition starts like all other leads:
The bait: The lead lures in with a status post on Facebook and gives the impression that the competition is being organized by Billa herself.
The bridge: If we follow the link provided, we will get to a small search game. In this game it doesn't matter which shopping bag you choose: you always win - no matter what!

Why? Because the organizer wants your data. Comments shown are mostly generated and do not reflect the opinions of existing Facebook users.
The exit: So we end up with an input mask. You want the name and phone number. However, the small print reveals the actual purpose of this competition:
Call costs: €2.17 per minute from a landline. Mobile phone costs may be higher. To participate in this service, please fill out your name and phone number on the website. Then call the service number displayed to receive your PIN code. Please enter the PIN code on the page to activate the service. Listen to the questions and please enter the specific answer using the numbers 1 or 2 on your phone. The player collects 100 points by answering the questions correctly. The player with the most points at the end of the promotional period wins the prize. You can stop the quiz at any time by ending the phone call. We will contact the winner within 10 days of our promotion expiry (end date 12/31/2019 at 11:59 p.m.). …
Photos of winners used for this campaign are for demonstration purposes only and do not reflect the actual winners. …
Quiz-Winners does not cooperate with any of the listed products or retailers and does not sponsor or promote them. …
Conclusion
The competition organizers want to entice participants to call an expensive hotline so that they can take part in the competition. The more calls are made, the more points the participant can get and the better their chances are. Rip off!
The photos of supposed winners are also not real - they are intended for demonstration purposes. Of course, this gives the impression that others have already won something in this competition...
