BMW Club 2020: Be careful of the blue ribbon competition, because there will be no Bayerische Motoren Werke vehicle up for grabs on this Facebook page.

The most important thing about the BMW competition in brief:

  • Facebook page fakes competition
  • Alleged BMW raffle
  • Non-transparent page is fake

Fake competitions have been around on Facebook . People used to like to offer incorrectly packaged iPhones as prizes, but today they are cars or sometimes entire houses.

What hasn't changed, however, is the fakeness, but also the number of people who fall for such fake competitions and hope to win a great prize by taking part.

This is also the case on the BMW Club 2020 Facebook page. There should be a sporty BMW up for grabs here. It is wrapped in a blue ribbon and there is also a photo of last year's winner as proof of its authenticity.

BMW Club 2020? Nonsense!

This competition on Facebook is also purely fake. Neither BMW nor any reputable dealer is behind the competition. The fairly young Facebook page relies purely on virality.

There is no transparent and credible owner information to be found on the site; the photos themselves come from external sources that have nothing to do with this site. We therefore advise against taking part in the competition on the BMW Club 2020 Facebook page.

Fake competitions on Facebook

Note : Competitions regularly appear on Facebook and captivate Facebook users. They hope for a really big win but in the end they come away empty-handed. In these cases, only the site operator “wins”. We check competitions for their seriousness! This competition is not serious and deceives the participants. It doesn't meet Facebook's criteria and uses fake elements!
Fake Facebook pages repeatedly claim to be giving away expensive kitchen appliances, campers or cars. Finding testers for a brand is also a popular way to attract users. This scam is not new .
Further information about such competitions can be found in our article “ How fake competitions work on Facebook! " before.
