A resurrection in the middle of summer: the return of the B2B Facebook pages!
Of course, each of us wants to have high-quality items at particularly affordable prices. But despite all this will and all these temptations, you should keep a cool head, because not every offer turns out to be a great bargain in the end! Below we point out the problem with B2B goods offered on Facebook. This scam is not new, but appears again and again on social networks!
Status reports are used to point out supposed stock clearances, where you can pick up high-quality products at incredibly low prices. But be careful, these status posts conceal key information that can end up being very expensive. As if from obscurity, the following Facebook page suddenly reappeared.

Here, users are tricked into accessing a website with B2B offers in order to be able to purchase brand new iPhones for €17, as in this case.
Problem: B2B
This abbreviation means “business to business”, i.e. no trading with private individuals. What the Facebook page doesn't mention is that it's exactly about B2B offers. The message links to a website called Almidado. This site promises to provide access to B2B offers. This is not illegal. By the way, you won't find the offer as presented on Facebook if you're just a visitor to the homepage.
Anyone who then registers there in order to be able to access the offer advertised on Facebook (if it can be accessed at all) will also be made aware during registration that this registration involves costs.
By pressing the “Buy trial access for 99 cents” button
you will receive access to our almidado platform for 24 hours.
If you do not cancel within 7 days
, your access will be extended and transformed
into full access.
You will then incur costs of 239.90 euros including VAT. per year with a contract term of one year.
and all at a price of €239.90 per year. However, the site does not guarantee that the goods offered are in stock.
We have already written several reports on this approach, which we link to here. As you read, just pay attention to the appearance of the B2B websites described:
