City waste collection for money?

Bulky waste collection by the city of Stuttgart is actually free. However, there are more and more websites on the Internet that offer bulky waste collection on behalf of the city for a lot of money.

Bulky waste mafia: False names and addresses

One of these bulky waste crews clearly claims to be a municipal waste disposal company on the phone and on the website - and charges 455 euros for four cubic meters of bulky waste. But confronting the owner becomes a difficult undertaking. The imprint of the website contains the name of the alleged managing director and an address in Berlin - but the man we find at this address states that he has nothing to do with the company and is annoyed by the topic. He says that his name and address are being misused for numerous bulky waste companies throughout Germany.

The city administration and public order office do not know bulky waste companies

However, the authorities do not believe him and so he is charged with fraud before the Berlin district court. During the proceedings it becomes clear: he is not to blame. A further internet search reveals: The name has disappeared, but a new one can be found in the imprints of numerous bulky waste sites. Plus a Munich phone number and a new address in Stuttgart. But neither visiting the new address nor asking city administrations and public order offices is productive. Nobody wants to have heard of the waste disposal company.

Bulky waste disposal at a private recycling center

But who does the business then? Hidden trackers in the furniture lead to a hot trail. Three men come, take a sofa and a cupboard and ask to be paid in cash. After a journey across the entire Stuttgart area, the goal has been reached: a private recycling center. The bulky waste disposal companies do not want to comment on the matter.

Bulky waste crews and fake websites: organized crime?

A network research professional will find out more. His result: “All of these 150+ bulky waste sites are on the same IP address. The structure of the pages is almost identical. Some of the pages lead back to the IT company of a Kosovo Albanian, which also has a branch in Germany. The managing director of this company is well connected. And bulky waste disposal is offered nationwide, different telephone numbers are used, every imprint is fake. A considerable logistical effort.” – All clear signs of organized crime.
