The fact check
After a simple check using search engines, you can already say: The content statement is in no way the product of the author's imagination , but has already found its place in various media several times in the past. Admittedly, a few sources or comprehensible references would not have been wrong, as it would prove that the content is correct.
Various places on the internet report about it:
However, there are various places on the Internet that describe a very similar, frightening scene . As early as April 2002, Focus wrote under the title “Affenschande” [ 1 ]:
He split the skull of the female primate with a machete and sold the baby. This is how the poacher makes a living: he slaughters orangutan mothers and steals their young so that they can amuse people in the cities of Asia. As child substitutes, lovers, lap dogs, sex slaves or circus clowns.
The article reports on various bizarre purposes for which orangutans are captured and kept, but unfortunately also killed. Among other things, also for prostitution:
Twelve prostitutes aged 14 to 40 and Poonie are dozing in the “Sweet Woman Forever” brothel, a lightless wooden shack. The three-year-old orangutan girl wears an iron chain with a padlock around her left ankle. He is clean-shaven, including his genitals, and his head has been styled with a mohawk.
In August 2008, both SPIEGEL and WELT reported on a ZDF documentary in which the actor Hannes Jaenicke advocates for orangutans, which are threatened with extinction. Der Spiegel wrote on August 13, 2008 under the title “Man is a wolf to apes” [ 2 ]:
[…] and he documents the story of a female orangutan who, as unbelievable and perverse as it may sound, was freed from a brothel where she had to serve men for years, shaved and chained to a bed.
article in WELT with the publication date August 13, 2008 under the title “Hannes Jaenicke and the enslaved orangutans” [ 3 ] also describes
They are used as go-go girls, kept as sex slaves and traded in markets: orangutans in Southeast Asia. […] A female orangutan is freed and rescued from a brothel. Shorn bald, it had been tied to a bed in a dark room for five years for sexual gratification.
The documentary produced for ZDF cannot currently be found in any official media library, the production company “Tangofilm” has information online on its website in the section Hannes Jaenicke: In action for… [ 4 ].

Borneo Orangutan Survival BOS Deutschland eV
We can therefore count ourselves lucky to have received detailed information on this explosive topic from Borneo Orangutan Survival BOS Deutschland eV. In it Brita Mathes writes:
We are also aware of the cruel case referred to in the article. It was almost ten years ago now. The description was about the orangutan lady Pony, who was rescued and now lives in a BOS protection center and is lovingly cared for and treated there.
This particularly infamous form of animal cruelty, like any form of torture or even keeping orangutans, is illegal in Indonesia. Individual violations have occurred in the past and sometimes still occur again. These are mostly cases of illegal keeping of orangutan babies. They will then be freed by our Indonesian partners together with the local authorities. The last case that caused a great deal of public attention in Germany was that of the orangutan Alba.
However, since Pony's case described in her report, we are not aware of any further cases of sexual abuse of orangutans. Nor the existence of an orangutan brothel. The fact that this case is brought up again and again is due to the extreme escalation that the topic allows. In the case of “MadeMyDay” or “noizz”, the sources seem to refer to the documentation by Hannes Jänicke, which he made back in 2008 together with BOS in Indonesia. The topic here was the case described above. It is a shame that this information is still being processed into sensational articles that suggest that this is a current problem. A lot of educational work is now being done about orangutans in Indonesia, and it is bearing great fruit.
