The claim
In a photo from Butscha, two cars can be seen on the roof and one on its side, but the windows are intact. Supposedly the photo is staged or there is a “new bomb” that only knocks over cars but leaves windows intact.
Our conclusion
A large number of statements from residents of the housing complex show that there were no bomb hits or explosions in the housing complex, but that Russian soldiers overturned the cars to hide military equipment from drones.
It is true that the first casualty of a war is always the truth, which is why one must always pay attention to who is spreading the news and whether there is an intention behind it.
That's why there are many courageous, independent journalists who document the war in Ukraine. But for some people, they seem to be in cahoots with whoever when they take photos that are staged from their perspective. A current example of this is a photo from a street corner in Butscha, in which you can see two cars lying on the roof and one on its side, but the windows are intact. However, there can be no question of a production!
The claim
The authenticity of the photo is being questioned in the form of various sharepics and posts:

The texts on the sharepics are “ Mysterious bombs in Ukraine: Cars are turned upside down – buildings and windows remain intact ” and “ Putin has a new bomb: It turns cars over, while the buildings around them, including their windows, remain undamaged… ” .
The fact check
The photo was actually taken at Zentralna 33 in Butscha, as a look at Google Street View proves. It was taken on April 4 by an AP war reporter (see HERE ). The description of the picture reads: “ A Ukrainian soldier walks with children past cars destroyed by the war against Russia in Bucha, an outskirts of Kiev, on Monday, April 4, 2022. ”
The cars were already there during the Russian occupation
Drone footage from late March showing that Russian troops were still in Bucha, even though the Russian government claimed the troops had already left by then, also shows the street corner where the photo was taken. The cars can already be seen there, as AFP journalists show:

Statements from the residents of the housing estate
Based on several photos in a Facebook group and knowledge of exactly where the cars were, AFP journalists contacted several residents. They described that although their apartments had apparently been occupied and destroyed by Russian soldiers, there were no signs of bombs or explosions there.
The Reuters news agency reported on April 7th about exactly the modern housing development in the photo (see HERE ), as many residents were unable to escape and directly experienced how the soldiers behaved and what happened. Their descriptions are very shocking, but there is never any mention of a bomb attack or explosions.
One of the residents, Oleksiy Tarasevich, spoke to the Greek fact-checking portal “ Ellinika Hoaxes ” and said the following specifically about the cars:
“The cars in the yard of our house were overturned by Russian soldiers to hide their own equipment. When these 'shelters' were built, Russian military equipment was located near the buildings and the Russian soldiers covered them with cars on both sides. They threw carpets and blankets from the apartments over the equipment to prevent it from being detected by satellites or drones.”
Several photos from the area also show heavy Russian military equipment and other damaged cars with dents and scratches, visible on the streets as wide-wheeled and tracked vehicles. The cars lying on the roof also have visible scratch marks and dents on the sides, which suggests that they were damaged and partly overturned by the Russians' heavy military vehicles.
Summary
When speaking to reporters from AFP, Reuters and Ellinika Hoaxes, none of the residents of the housing estate described explosions or bomb attacks. However, they report soldiers occupying the apartments, wantonly killing residents and sometimes using the cars to hide their equipment from drones.
So there is no “new bomb”, as is mockingly asked on the Sharepics, and the cars were not arranged that way afterwards; they were already there during the Russian occupation and were probably damaged and partially overturned by heavy military vehicles.

But it wasn't a tank, the military vehicle didn't come from Germany, and it wouldn't be illegal either. No, no German tank fell off a truck in Austria!
