[icon name=”whatsapp” class=”” unprefixed_class=””] This supposed offer can end badly!
Many people are currently receiving a message via WhatsApp informing them that “Kinder Riegel” is giving away boxes as part of unspecified celebrations. These boxes are also not defined in more detail. To find out more about what this is about, you have to click on a link. Let's look at a dangerous promise.
The content of this message is:
Wow, Kinder Riegel is celebrating with Kinder Riegel boxes being given away for free. I just got mine, get yours before the offer ends.

Fact check:
Which is probably correct: Kinder Riegel is actually celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2018. Point. But that's it at this point, because Ferrero (manufacturer of children's products) has absolutely nothing to do with this WhatsApp message or the linked website.
Check 1: The web address : someone here has desperately tried to create a web address that sounds similar to the official address of the Kinder Riegel website. Comparisons:
Official address: www.kinderriegel.de
Replicated address: www.kinder-riegel-de.com
In particular, the attempt to cheat a “de” into the address area (it is NOT the country code) is rather dubious.
Check 2: where are you linked to? Caution! You can fall badly here! We access this address at different times and with different devices and have to warn about this message! During our analysis on Saturday, March 24, 2018, 3 p.m.), we were directed to a different destination every time we accessed this address via desktop with a German IP.
One time we were supposed to install an obscure app called “InstaTime”, the next time we opened it we were offered a browser game, and in the end we even ended up on a website with a loan offer. From this we conclude that the redirect represents, or has represented, nothing other than a rotating advertising system, because the redirect has now been removed and the website has no content.
However, that doesn't mean anything as this content can be reactivated at any time!
You can get consistent content at this point if you follow the link with a German IP via your smartphone. A nonsensical question game opens here, the answer to which is irrelevant and where you are redirected to an affiliate.
Untrustworthy!
We therefore warn against this message because, on the one hand, it has nothing to do with Ferrero/Kinder and, on the other hand, it uses very dubious means. You are blinded by an advertising promise from an unknown original author. Here, too, it's all about one thing: the author doesn't care about the content, it's about displaying advertising or effectively incorporating advertising links.
