The claim
A recent video allegedly shows a Chinese military convoy entering Ukraine from Russia.
Our conclusion
The video is actually 3 weeks old and shows Chinese military vehicles driving to an international military exercise in Vladivostok.
China is behaving cautiously diplomatically towards Russia: On the one hand, China's head of state Xi calls Putin an " old friend " whom he will stand by, and on the other hand, China is distancing itself from Russia's war in Ukraine.
The claim that a Chinese military convoy is already in Ukraine is all the more shocking. Is China now actively supporting Russia militarily? No, pro-Russian users want to cause trouble!
The video with the Chinese convoy
On the site "Telegra.ph" (archived HERE ), where anyone can post their own articles, a "Harold Turner" (probably a pseudonym based on the real Hal Turner , a far-right political commentator) claimed on September 19, that “ former colleagues in the Intelligence Community ” had sent him a video showing Chinese army units invading Ukraine from Russia.
According to his own statements, in the first version he was only able to publish a few screenshots, and later the full video in an update.

In the video you can hear someone speaking Russian, the cars driving by have Russian license plates, the military vehicles actually have the Chinese flag and some Chinese characters on them.
On the same day, September 19, the video was also shared on Twitter and in pro-Russian channels on Telegram:
The true origin of the video
As sensational as the video was announced and described by “Harold Turner”, he was simply putting on a show, because the video has been on the Internet since August 30th and does not show China invading Ukraine.
Starting in mid-August, several articles announced Vostok-22 ” would take place in Vladivostok, far east of Russia near the border with China, starting at the end of August This took place from August 30th to September 5th. In addition to Russia, participating countries included Tajikistan, Mongolia, Belarus, India and China.
On August 30, the first day of the military exercise, a user on the Russian site Pikabu (the Russian equivalent of Reddit) also wrote about it and posted the widely circulated video .
In fact, he posted a YouTube link to it on August 30th. This video:
The title of the video: “Vostok-2022”, which is the name of the military exercise. The description of the video:
„
“The People's Liberation Army of China (PLA) will take part in the Vostok-2022 land exercise in the Far East from August 30 to September 5. As the Chinese Ministry of Defense has already announced, the Chinese army will take part in the “Vostok-2022” exercise. […] The focus of the exercise is the deployment of troop formations (forces) to ensure military security in the eastern region.”
Deutsche Welle also reported on the military exercise on September 1st. In a photo in their article showing Chinese military vehicles on a train, we were able to determine that these are the same vehicles seen in the video.
Conclusion
The circulating video, which is supposedly current and supposedly shows a Chinese convoy entering Ukraine from Russia, is actually already 3 weeks old and shows Chinese military vehicles driving to an international military exercise in Vladivostok.
Also interesting:
Allegations are currently circulating on the Internet that the USA is secretly planning to destroy the German economy through the war in Ukraine.
However, some details in the document and the primary source raise doubts about its authenticity! – USA plans to destroy German economy through war in Ukraine? – Authenticity of the secret document questionable!
