The claim
In a video you can see a farmer driving his tractor around a group of people between festival tents and spraying manure. Further information is missing, users assume it is a current video.
Our conclusion
The video is not current, but from 2016, when actress Emma Thompson and Greenpeace organized a protest against fracking in Lancashire, England.
One of the postings that distributes this video describes that this is an unannounced rally by climate activists who the farmer now wants to scare away with manure. However, further information is missing.

By the time this article was published, that post had been shared over 700 times and received over 1,300 reactions and almost 200 comments. In these it is clear that the authors agree with the farmer's approach.
But where did this take place? Which rally was that? When did it take place? – None of this seems to matter.
Climate activists rally?
While searching for the video, we find a publication of it on YouTube from May 11, 2016 ( archived here ) with the title “Farmer sprays poop all over protesters trespassing on his land”. – Now we at least know that this is not a recent video.
The same video can be found on a website that reports that actress and Oscar winner Emma Thompson and Greenpeace activists were the target here. "They were in Lancashire, England ... and Thompson broke a court order to protest fracking on his land."
The BBC reported on this protest and the farmer's attempt to drive away the protesters on April 28, 2016.
“She (editor's note: Emma Thompson) and other activists took part in a “Bake-Off”-like parody about fracking just a few meters from a planned fracking site.
BBC
However, the group did not have permission to be there and the farmer who leases the land on Preston New Road, near Blackpool, drove a tractor past the makeshift studio and sprayed many members of the group with manure.”
From a different perspective, we see the incident in a tweet from Rock FM News on April 27, 2016:
“The Frack Free Bake Off”
Emma Thompson, along with her sister Sophie, made several videos called The Frack Free Bak Off to satirically protest against drilling activity at the Lancashire site by oil and gas exploration company Cuadrilla. She received support here from Greenpeace .
Conclusion
Yes, a farmer actually drove activists off his property by spraying manure around him.
Since no precise information can be found in the posts that are currently circulating this video, many users assume that this is a recent incident.
But this video comes from England and is over six years old. It shows a protest against fracking in which, among others, actress Emma Thompson took part with the support of Greenpeace - and yes, also a good load of manure.
