The current spread of the coronavirus is causing fear among many people. This fear is also fueled by so-called fake news.

Be it the coronavirus video from “Odysseus” or the alleged spread of the new coronavirus through bat soup to the patent on the coronavirus and much more, people are becoming more and more unsettled by such false reports and fake news. Facebook is now pursuing the goal of restricting the spread of false information on Facebook and Instagram. Facebook health chief Kang-Xing Jin said this in a report .

Now a new false report appears online: “COCAINE KILLS CORONA VIRUS”

Supposedly cocaine would kill the coronavirus. The hoax was circulated in the form of an image. For the viewer, this appears as if it were so-called “breaking news” from a TV station.

This is a fake!

This image was created using a generator called The Breaking News Generator. This is on a website and can be used by everyone. In addition to a headline, you can upload a ticker and an image here and then create an image from this. You can then download or share this!

There are always such generators online. Unfortunately, these are often misused for fake news.
