Many Facebook users are familiar with the ominous friend requests from pretty women out of the blue. But where does a lady like that want to take us? We followed the links...
So we bravely entered the profile of the lady who revealed something promising to us in her first and only post:

An apparent video shows us the bare facts. Will we be able to spot the pretty lady in the profile picture there? Maybe even find true love? Let's click on that right now:

Great.
So we don't see a video at first, but are instead directed to an external page. But we are apparently also offered a video there to watch. Still not the lady from the Facebook profile, but we're not picky! So let's just click on it...

Great. Still no video. Instead, we are again to another page that greets us with naked women and asks us whether we are man or woman.
Transgender people are therefore already excluded. But since the author is clearly male, he confidently clicks “Man”. And then the question odyssey begins...

We now have to ask a series of questions about age and other things, such as whether we use condoms or whether we have a problem with only meeting women who want sex. By the way, it doesn't matter which answers you click on, at the end you get to the exciting analysis of the questions!

Uuuuuh, time pressure! We actually qualified, amazing! But we only have 5 minutes for free !
This pressure! Should we dare? Will we finally meet the Facebook lady there? What could possibly go wrong? We dare!!

What ?? Can't this page remember anything? Again we are redirected and again we have to answer the same questions! And for those with reading difficulties, small pictures have also been included. The author, who has both long hair and a beard, would really have a problem if he couldn't read!
We’ll spare you the screenshots of the following questions for now. Just imagine it, just with different graphics. Now let's get to the main attraction: the money trap !
Shortly after completing the registration process, we can finally start hunting for the opposite sex! Almost at least. Because unfortunately...

...the faces of all the supposed ladies nearby are blurred. No, that's actually not ours, we just hid the names and the location, the pictures are really so blurry. Even if you clean your glasses vigorously.
But wait, someone wants to meet us!
And that despite the fact that we uploaded pretty much the ugliest picture we could find (Jason from “Friday the 13th,” without a mask!). Let's take a look right away!
And we experience the next big disappointment:

“A Bidla Buh, a Bidla Buh, a Bidla Bing Bang Buh, beautiful women cost a lot of money!”
– Georg Kreisler
And so we come to the end of our little odyssey in search of quick sex or great love. In the end, only registration was free. In the future, our specially created email account will be bombarded with countless more or less pornographic and explicit emails.
And that's what profiles like this are all about. To take money out of simple users' pockets. You can also look forward to a lot of emails because you agreed to the data protection regulations when you registered, and it's worth taking a look at them beforehand

“Marketing by third parties, transfer of data to third-party processors, transfer of data to professional advisors and potential buyers.”
In other words: your data is happily passed around. Because users who have completed this question odyssey and voluntarily pay so much money can be fleeced even more!
In the imprint of the pages, whose names and descriptions differ slightly, we find the operator Paidwings AG from Switzerland and they offer several of these pages, but with an ugly aftertaste: free trial subscriptions of 1 euro per month are offered in order to However, being able to use premium membership can quickly become quite expensive.
For example, the website of the law firm Dr. Hoffmann said that users of the sites who never took out a premium subscription or who canceled the subscription process beforehand also received reminder letters from the debt collection company Fairmount GmbH . Such letters must be taken seriously and should not be ignored, which is why it is often necessary to see a lawyer. Schuster law firm also specializes in cover letters with such payment requests.
Conclusion
The seemingly harmless friend request actually hides a tough business model. Predominantly male users are lured with hidden links to sex portals that want to take money out of their pockets using legally dubious methods.
