Some sharepics just keep appearing and, despite all the persistent repetition, they still don't get any truer.
Like a sharepic that shows the SPD politician Aydan Özoğuz and puts a sentence in her mouth that she never said. This is the following sentence:
“The fact that [sic!] asylum seekers become criminals and even commit robbery under certain circumstances is [sic!] solely the fault of the Germans, because their willingness to donate leaves a lot to be desired.”

This sharepic has now undergone a small change, which makes it difficult to identify its origin. As already mentioned, what can be read on the meme was never said by the politician. This text was simply put into her mouth a long time ago, because this form of meme is just a modified form of an older sharepic:
This more original sharepic, which has been haunting the internet for several years, shows its real origin: “In Satira by Uwe Ostertag”.
So the phenomenon has its own name – it is an “Easter Day” .
What is an “Easter Day”?
The originator is the infamous, self-proclaimed Internet troll Uwe Ostertag , who has been keeping his followers and the legal authorities on their toes with such fake messages for years.
He by no means limits himself to the deputy SPD federal chairwoman, but the government's handling of migration, refugees and integration is always the focus of his more or less original "memes", which are as numerous as they are perfidious.
Around Ostertag there is a not inconsiderable clique of aligned representatives of the right-wing populist scene who, as one reads in forum posts, take the outrageous claims at face value or as grist for their mill.
The author himself supposedly sees his approach as “satirical”; Together with the probably not entirely unintentional orthographic blunders, his style ensures that common sense refuses to assume that this is primarily targeted propaganda.
Nevertheless, one should not underestimate his actions; Even if he probably knows what he's doing quite well, that probably doesn't apply to the majority of his followers.
In any case, Ostertag is light years away from being a “harmless joker”; With the help of his numerous followers and cliques, he is founding new hotbeds of dull resentment and inhumane “communities” everywhere on the internet.
