And again the photo of the receipt from a Sparkasse coin counting machine is on everyone's lips on Facebook.
The decisive factor for the outrage is the fee of €27.48 for a deposit result of €210.05.

Today I took small coins to the savings bank
and poured them into the coin machine.
The savings bank then wanted 13% of my money as
a fee!1 or 2 years ago this was a free service.
Now it's only
free up to 50 coins (within 24 hours).
Each additional coin costs a fee of 1 cent.
Even a 1 cent coin costs 1 cent fee if you
have already exceeded 50 coins per day.Deposit 1 cent – pay 1 cent fee!
I found it unbelievable how one was so excluded.
Maybe another means of pressure to slowly persuade citizens
to pay cashless!?Now you should always take away the small coins
when you have collected a maximum of 50 pieces...Ps... children's money boxes no longer make sense...

Was there any cheating on this receipt?
[vc_message message_box_color=”green” icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-check”]No. It is NOT FAKE ![/mk_info]
This fee has been in effect at savings banks since January 1, 2015. Giving up up to 50 coins is free of charge and on “World Savings Day” customers can bring the full amount of saved coins to the Sparkasse free of charge [ 1].
In all other cases, Sparkasse customers will also be charged fees when depositing coins as soon as the amount of coins is over 50.
This means that customers may also incur higher fees if large amounts of coins are deposited (such as 2,798 coins).
Here the devil is in the details: For such quantities, the Sparkasse Köln Bonn speaks in its own terms and conditions under B 8.2 of “EUR 3.00 per safe bag or individual agreement based on effort”, i.e. an unspecified sum.
These fees are NOT FAKE, but they are not new either and are also in the terms and conditions of various savings banks. What should not be forgotten is that other banks also charge fees for depositing coins!
