This isn't serious, is it?
There are inquiries where you don't immediately know how to approach the topic. On the one hand, there are those inquiries in which children are involved, how much depth do you go into, how many details are necessary to answer the inquiry sufficiently and clearly, but at the same time protect the child's privacy. How many emotions I carry on. But these are actually questions that you carry around and weigh up while creating an article.
But there are also inquiries like this one that I have now that make me seriously think about what do I do with it?
It doesn't even fall under my usual exclusion criteria, no, on the contrary, I find the chosen topic entertaining, my current problem, if it really is one, is the questions about it, but one after the other.
On April 24, 2018, a post appeared on Facebook dealing with the implementation of the EU Dog Poop Regulation. The corresponding law will apply in Germany from May 1, 2018.

As soon as you choose the name, you actually start to think about “Dog Poop Ordinance”, of course this name describes the process quite accurately, but you should definitely be able to assume that the EU would have chosen a name without “… poop…”.
The text is generally excellently written. Coherent, with only a few breaks that slow down the flow of reading. So it could well be a fact-based report. But as some inquirers have already noticed, you can't find anything else about it. Except for references to the present text. On the other hand, you can find a lot about dog excrement regulations, but that is not the topic here.

The two badges shown as examples are blatantly reminiscent of the Euro badges for emissions standards in terms of shape, color and layout.
Only a dog getting loose and the letter combinations BK and TK are included. On closer inspection, you will notice that the BK on the green plaque has been moved slightly from the bottom center to the left, as if it was supposed to be extra visible or was added later using a graphics program. In fact, we find the two stickers in reports on the pollutant classes in exactly the position shown, only without a dog and without BK or TK.
Later in the text it is conveyed that dogs in the Eurokacker 4 class are not allowed to loose themselves on days with a fine poop alarm, as if a dog were to comply with it, if necessary the local Persian suffers and I don't mean the cat.
At the very latest when it comes to the fine poop filter for retrofitting , everyone should be aware that the article is only intended for general entertainment, but it does that excellently.
Despite the topic, you may forgive me if I describe the text as a treat, a piece of better entertainment.
Now I hope everyone understands my dilemma, it's not the topic itself, but how do I have to deal with a request about it, does the questioner want to lead me on a limb, does he want to show me the text "Hey look, FUNNY!" or is he really serious about his request, but hasn't read the entire text, or has he finished reading the text and is still serious about his request despite the fine shit filter?
Be that as it may, I personally relegate the EU dog poop regulation to the realm of EU regulation fables for now and would like to thank the author for the entertaining minutes.

“Important information for dog owners, this will change from May 1st, 2018
With effect from May 1st of this year, Germany will be the first EU country to implement the new EU dog poop regulation into state law.
The law is intended to increase transparency and protect the environment. Accordingly, from May 1st, all dogs in Germany must wear a so-called dog poop identification badge (HKK badge) in order to signal to non-dog owners the type and severity of the excretion and to transparently display the four-legged friend's emission values. The Federal Office for Environmental Protection in Animal Husbandry (BAUT) has only implemented EU Poop Directives 4 and 6.
Only the green sticker, for dogs aged 8 and over, and the blue Euro 6 poop sticker for dogs up to 8 years of age are introduced in Germany.
All badges are available with the additional designations TK, BK and NK. The label indicates the type of excretion.
Dogs that are fed exclusively with dry food carry TK; these are restricted to the extent that in the future they will only be allowed to move around on paved ground where the owner can ingest them without leaving any residue.
According to the EU Commission, this is due to the penetration of residual chemicals from the dry food into the groundwater.
Wearers of the BK and NK (BARF and wet food) brands will continue to be allowed to loose on grass verges. “Because the digestive tract of young dogs works better, the dog excretes less and is therefore more environmentally friendly.
He will be given the blue badge as a level 6 EU poop,” said the BAUT press spokesman when asked. “Europoockers 4, on the other hand, can occasionally be affected by a fine pooping alarm and are then subject to a pooping ban for that day,” says Dr.
Herbert Tüpfel continues. In collaboration with the pet industry, the first fine poop filters are already being developed for retrofitting from Euro 4 to Euro 6 poop. Breeders, animal protection organizations and animal shelters are not obliged to retrofit before handing over a Euro 4 pooper.
Please check which badge you need and don't forget to use it from May 1st. These are available in every town hall for an administration fee of 16.00 euros. The sticker is valid for one year and must then be renewed. Fines of up to 200 euros are already in place for game poopers without a sticker.”
