A Facebook page is decorated with the EDEKA logo and is called the EDEKA Club. But this Facebook page has nothing to do with the group of companies.
What looks like EDEKA at first glance turns out to be a fake site at second glance. The Facebook page also contains fragments of a previously published fake competition.
In addition to these relics, you can also see older posts that consist of shared postings from the real EDEKA Facebook page . These postings may have been used to create a certain false authenticity.

This competition was probably about a DeLonghi fully automatic coffee machine. The status message itself with the competition is no longer available, but you can still find photos on the Facebook page that indicate a past competition.

In terms of content and appearance, this page is based on other Facebook pages that have presented themselves as EDEKA and have also published competitions.
EDEKA, the camper and other sites
The same profile picture, the same cover photo: The Facebook page “Edeka”, for example, has a completely identical structure. This site regularly gives away high-priced prizes, like the recent one for a camper.
By the way, it is not at all unusual for Facebook page creators to use other people's identities and then organize fake competitions. The reason: These pages give the impression that they are official Facebook pages of well-known companies and thus build a false basis of trust.

What happens there?
However, the prize offered is just a pretext - there is neither a proper imprint nor any other information about the organizer. “Edeka” has only existed since October 20, 2019 and has already given away non-cash prizes worth over several thousand euros several times. Here is the official Edeka Facebook page.
