Is a toddler being trampled on here because he is Muslim?

An image we already know is being shared again on social networks. It shows an adult standing with both feet on a small child.

The text accompanying the image reads:

If you have just a grain of mercy, the picture will reach the whole world within 24 hours.

A small child in Bourma. The reason this happened to him is because he is a Muslim.

The fact check

We already dealt with this picture in 2015. Colleague Andre realized that the photo was real, but taken out of context.

So the statement in the picture is not true.

You can see the faith healer (spirit healer) Amzad Fakir from Bangladesh. He repeatedly uses violent methods when it comes to the topic of healing illnesses.

He himself is not an Islamic preacher and has not kicked a baby to death because of it.

Amzad Fakir was arrested for the first time on April 9, 2012 because of the methods used.
