Just a few days ago we and the police about these scam emails that are currently being sent again and again. The goal of scammers and these fake emails is to intimidate the recipient and ultimately extort money from them. In capital letters at the beginning there are words such as Federal Criminal Police Office, State Police Directorate, Interpol or Europol. The emails often appear very threatening to the recipient. In the email or in the file attachment you will then read:
“We are initiating proceedings against you, shortly after a computer seizure of cyber infiltration for child pornography, pedophilia, cyber pornography and exhibitionism.” At the end of the email there was a request that you had to write a reply email within 48 hours, otherwise it would happen the “ immediate arrest ”.
These are the emails:

A man from Austria couldn't live with the accusations and committed suicide
A case from Austria shows the dire consequences such fake emails can have. As the “Kleine Zeitung” reports, a man opened such an email and then committed suicide.
Fake “Europol” email was still visible on the screen
The fake email was still on the screen when he was found dead. In a suicide note, the man wrote that he could not live with such accusations.
Notice
Such fake emails are likely sent in the hundreds of thousands every day. While most Internet users recognize the fraud behind it and delete these emails, it can also reach someone “ at exactly the wrong moment, in a stressful life situation ,” writes the “Kleine Zeitung.” It is all the more important to know that people can find themselves in extreme situations as a result of such apparently obvious fraud emails. At this point an appeal from the Kleine Zeitung expert:
“If suicidal thoughts arise in a crisis situation, regardless of the trigger, we strongly recommend that you seek professional help.”
