A YouTuber from America draws attention to how easy it is to lure children into a house with a frightening video!

“Don’t accept sweets from strangers”. A rule that children learn again and again from their parents. But a YouTuber tested how quickly children put themselves in danger. His experiment is intended to make you think.

The experiment:

A fake account was created on Facebook and YouTuber Coby Persin suddenly became 15-year-old Amanda Green. After consulting with the parents, Coby contacted a boy on Facebook as “Amanda.” “Amanda” messaged John, who is 13 years old, on Facebook and the two chatted repeatedly over the course of a day.

At the same time, the scene to be filmed was being prepared in a residential building and Coby hired an actress to portray Amanda's mother for his experiment. “Amanda” herself persuaded the 13-year-old to visit her in the chat. The boy asked for the address, which he got via the chat.

He said he could be there within 10 minutes.

And that was the case. 10 minutes later there was a knock on the apartment door and the supposed mother of “Amanda” opened it for the boy. She asked if he was looking for “Amanda,” which the boy confirmed. The “fake” mother then said that she was with her friend and that she would call Amanda to let her know that he was there.

In a “fake” phone call, the mother informed Amanda and told the boy that Amanda would be there in a few minutes.

5 minutes later…

5 minutes later there was actually a knock on the apartment door. The “fake” mother opened it, but it wasn’t “Amanda” who was standing at the door, but it was the REAL MOTHER of the 13-YEAR-OLD BOY, who was completely upset and confronted her boy.

Here are the recordings of the Experminet, or rather the experiments, because the YouTube star also lured other children into a trap, also after consultation with their parents:

With the experiment, Coby Persin wants to show children what dangers lurk in social media.

Mimikama note:

The question we are asking ourselves right now is whether it is good to open the eyes of children with such horror. Is this shock effect the right way to educate young people about the dangers of social media?

At this point, we at Mimikama consistently focus on education rather than terror. Nevertheless, it is often the case that many parents and teachers have not yet really dealt with this topic or are overwhelmed by it. This is also the reason why we now offer lectures and workshops .
