The blackmailers carried out their threats and sent fake evidence to family members and the employer. Shocking: The employer threatens to dismiss you!
What's happened:
Internet criminals have been trying to put (mostly) male Facebook users under pressure and blackmail for days!
The scammers claim that they have recordings in which the user can be seen watching pornographic videos. If the user did not pay, in this case 500 EUR in Bitcoins, then the “evidence” would be handed over to the entire family and the employer.
These statements are of course not true, the reason is fictitious.
Evidence?
Various police and media reports indicate that there is no evidence or video recordings of the victim. But there is a problem at this point: the fraudsters simply use fake evidence because they are able to access the user's account.
A user contacted us and expressed his desperation because his family, in this case his sister, as well as his employer had already been informed about the alleged incident and the user was now threatened with termination because of the If there is suspicion, a termination could be given as these are significant allegations.
All correspondence is available to our editorial team!
We now have various emails and chat histories and can therefore describe and explain this type of blackmail step by step. What's happening here is no fun! With the blackmailer's permission, we are allowed to publish and show how these fraudsters work and what you can do to avoid becoming a victim of this nasty scam.
This is what happens during blackmail in detail:
- The user first fell victim to a phishing trap, which has nothing to do with the “pornographic videos” mentioned. The user with whom we are currently in intensive contact could have fallen victim to a phishing trap, which we have repeatedly reported on in the last few weeks! It was about dubious “YouTube video links” that were sent via Facebook Messenger or private messages. We reported about it here.
- From this moment on, the fraudsters have access to the respective Facebook account, as well as to Messenger and personal messages.
- With this access, the fraudsters started a chat that you don't even notice. In our case it was a chat with “Alisa Princ”, who here on Facebook . This profile is a fake profile, which then contacts the victim via messenger and also belongs to the gang of fraudsters.
- The fraudsters are now likely to chat with themselves here, since the fraudsters have access to the victim's messenger through phishing. In this chat you can see that the alleged victim would like to have sex with the stranger, but since the distance is too far, they agree on revealing photos, which are supposed to be sent via WhatsApp at the end. A price was also set in the chat process. You can also see in the chat history that this Alisa is only 13 years old.
- The user himself (the victim) was unaware of the entire conversation that took place about his account because he was not online at the time.
- The user will then receive an email to their email address, which is also the login address for their Facebook account. In this email, the victim is now asked to transfer 500 EUR in the form of Bitcoins. If he doesn't do that, this information, in this case the fake chat history, would be sent to his family and his employer.
- And these are not empty threats: Since the user did not respond to the email within a certain time, his sister and his employer were informed about this incident and the chat history was sent to them in the form of screenshots. The user has now been threatened with termination.
Where do the fraudsters get all the data and information from?
- The access data for the respective Facebook profile was sent to the fraudsters through a successful phishing attempt.
- The email address where the user received the threatening email came from his profile.
- It was relatively easy to inform his sister and his employer about this because the user had listed his sister publicly under the “Family Members” option and also set his employer to “public”.
Various excerpts from the screenshots we have
1. The fake profile of “Alisa Princ”

2. The victim's profile, where you can recognize the employer and his family, among other things:

3. The fake chat history with the scam profile “Alisa Princ”. Please note that both chat partners write identically. Both pages write in lower case throughout, without punctuation. The continuous spelling without capital letters can also be found in the blackmail email (see below). Here is the victim's view, in the messages to relatives and employers the colors are reversed, i.e. from the perspective of the other person.

4. A blackmail email arrives! The blackmailers can logically get the email data from the user data of the account to which they have access. The email contains a request to transfer 500 EUR.

5. Since the blackmailer did NOT pay, there is a chat between “Alisa Princ” and the victim’s sister

These extortions are currently being sent out en masse! Those affected are advised to go to the police URGENTLY.
