Interesting study on the underwerp cyber pests!
A study in August 2017 was carried out on the cyber-pest world, which brought the mental health of young men to the online misbruik in gevaar wordt.
Bijna de help van de ondervraagde young mensen tussen de 11 en 25 jaar heeft op de rand van zelfmoord. This was beforehand in a study in the opdracht of the Children's Society and Youngminds.
Tweeënzestig percent of the ondervraagden was onder de 18 en a kwart was vrouwelijk. The results are based on the language and the written language of young people - including an online inquiry on the 1,089 children and young people - even as verklaringen from sociale mediabedrijven, professionals in the geestelijke gezondheidszorg and running dadigheidsinstellingen for children
The ondervraagden gaven aan, that ze zich teleurgesteld voelden in sociale mediaplatformen and vroegen de bedrijven om harder tegen cyberpesten op te treden en pestende gebruikers te blocks.
The children's organization does not have to deal with social media, so they are worried that children and younger people can report something to them. The control is still there, but it is still on the floor.
This means that the social media can be heard over the pests in the series and it is quick and easy to do so, and the slachtoffers are there.
The results of the onderzoek will be, voorafgaand aan the reaction of the Britse regering op haar overleg over the internetveiligheidsstrategie, publiceerd. Zevenenveertig percent van de ondervraagden had op sociale media threegementen of intimate reports and eenenzestig percent had the first account op de leeftijd van 12 jaar of younger. Hoewel de platforms have been built for 13 years or more.
Alex Chalk, the Tory afgevaardigde, who is suffering on the other side, says:
“Cyber plagues can be devastating to young people, but they are now dead and the reaction of social media is not very symbolic and ontological. It's not a good idea, the goods come with a problem that needs to be addressed. “Ze hebben hun own huiswerk te lang niet gemaakt en het wordt tijd, dat ze veel transparenter en krachtiger en meer antwoordelijkheidsbesef krijgen”.
The CEO of the Children's Society, Matthew Reed said:
“The onderzoekscommissie heard from young people that cyber pests as “onontkoombaar” wordt was brought to the extreme gevallen het summer on the edge of zelfmoord. We also have positive results, which social media can bring young people. “Social media is a relevant component of the life of the child and we want to have a large amount of information available online, including the information available to us”.
Sarah Brennan, afdelingshoofd van YoungMinds, at:
“Gezien het belang van sociale media in het dagelijkse leven van jongeren, is het cruciaal dat jongeren zich daar veilig voelen en ervan kunnen enjoyed dat ze he deel van uitmaken. We now have platforms that offer content, which can be viewed with the light of the younger generation, even if we have a look at it, which we can use to talk about the situation, so that the position on the online world can be reactivated and what we can do, as it is confusing content tegenkomen. “Maar this onderzoek heeft vooral luid en duidelijk aangetoond, dat het tijd is, dat sociale mediabedrijven opstaan en maatregelen nemen om cyberpesten te bestrijden en de psychologische gezondheid van hun gebruikers te beschermen.”
Simon Milner, Facebook Policy Director for Europe, said:
“It is now a priority, Facebook is one of the best places for everyone to make it. That's why we met security experts, including the UK Safer Internet Center, and powerful tools from the Hub for pest prevention development, with the help you can get, positive feedback on Facebook and what you can do. On the work with Childnet International and The Diana Awards we believe that we have been at a middelbare school in the United Kingdom for digital surveillance and training …”
