Internet fraudsters are currently sending fake emails pretending to be Facebook. Apparently a Facebook user reported a “page” where you have admin rights. You can also view the reported content.

It is clear that as a recipient of such an email you are frightened and want to know what shared content was reported here. Many recipients therefore click on the green button in the email that says: “Show reported content” and end up on a website that at first glance looks like a Facebook login page.

Beware of “…reported your Facebook page”

Many recipients are now of the opinion that they now have to log in here with their access data in order to be able to see the reported content! But that is not the case. This is a FAKE! This is a so-called phishing. If you enter your access details here, they will be forwarded 1:1 to the fraudsters. From this point on, they can take over the victim's PROFILE and also the associated PAGES and GROUPS.
