After we reported just yesterday that there is no extension that allows users to display " Facebook emoticons " in the chat , Facebook has now installed this extension in the chat. The chat now has a new menu where you can choose from 21 “emoticons”. Until now you had to insert a text in the chat to get a :-) :-). Now you can do this with a mouse click.

The "extension" is located to the right of the "input window" and looks like this:

The new “Facebook Smiley” menu is only available to PC users. If you want to “chat” with your cell phone, you still have to use the “Shortcuts” option.
