And it's not just on Facebook that you should be able to see who has viewed your profile using the profile viewer. This claim was also circulating on Instagram: HERE
But no matter which platform: The claim that you should use the so-called profile viewer to see which people were on your profile is still wrong. It simply doesn't exist. And then why are these things circulating? They only serve one purpose, namely: phishing!
A post appears in a friend's profile that may look like this:

The short text suggests that the Facebook acquaintance has successfully tested it themselves. Maybe this will entice many people to take a look at it. So if you click on this link, a window will open.

To keep you curious, a random number is given to show how many visitors were to your profile in the last week. Now it's supposedly just one more step to see the list of who the visitors were. – Attentive users may have already noticed the foreign URL in the browser and not clicked further. Others then see this:

So you have to log in again. Again? Yes, after all, you are already on Facebook and have seen a post from a friend. This means you are already logged in. So why again? Here, too, it is important to focus your attention on the URL in the browser line: You are no longer on Facebook!
If you enter your data here carelessly, it will be stolen!
Phishing!
If you log in to such a fake site, you give the criminals behind this site “all-inclusive” access to your Facebook accounts including your pages, groups and contacts.
You can also write posts under your name - for example via the profile viewer - and mark your joy. This can often happen automatically via an interface. And so the matter becomes even more widespread.
If you were lucky again, just changing the password quickly would be enough to put an end to the spook.
Tip: If you are not sure whether you are on a real login page, you can try using random letters first. For example: ergsertgrestg@esrt.com and as password detfgdrtbrx. If you can still “log in” with it, you know that it is a phishing site!
Conclusion
There is no way to see the visitors to your own profile! However, this hope is repeatedly used by criminals to lure users into a phishing trap with an alleged “profile viewer”.
