The fake Facebook page “Travel to Bali” entices people to take a trip. Caution: This is not an official resort site.
Fraudsters repeatedly try to deceive Facebook users. They lure you with fake competitions and in the name of well-known companies, like in the following example with a 14-day trip to Bali. In the last few weeks, more and more holiday sites have been springing up and offering free trips. ( see here )
The page has only existed since February 24, 2020 and does not provide an imprint or other information about the supposed organizer. The raffle is just an excuse to get the user to take part.
Data brings money
Collecting data, selling magazine subscriptions and sending spam emails – and that's often not all.
Even if you take part and think to yourself “Oh, if I play along, it won’t hurt anyone” – data always brings money and these sites will continue to exist in the future. Facebook pages that deceive you and make money from your personal data.

Even a mere like maintains this type of page and harms you and your Facebook friends. In this case, participation will even cost you an expensive monthly membership fee. Whether you actually get the promised cinema package is anyone's guess.
