“If it’s in a picture, it must be true.”
That still seems to be the unanimous opinion of many users. This sharepic with ex-Pope Josef Ratzinger (Pope Benedict XVI) appears again and again on various sites and is usually accepted as real without reservation:

The sharepic says:
“Former Pope and former Catholic Grand Inquisitor. Covered for countless child molesters. Probably committed at least one satanic ritual murder himself (1987 in Holland). There is an international arrest warrant against him. Resigned because of this and has been hiding in the Vatican ever since to avoid arrest.”
That's a lot of claims that we're going to look at now.
The picture
This is the easiest one to debunk: This is a Photoshop job, the former pope never made the “fry fork” gesture with his hands. The original image of him simply raising his hands can be found here .
The ritual murder
This claim is based on the testimony of Dutch woman Toos Nijenhuis, who claims to have been ritually abused by a satanic cult at the age of four. on YouTube , recorded by Kevin Annett (which we'll get to in a moment); Numerous relevant pages about conspiracy theories gratefully took up the topic.
numerous gaps in logic and contradictions in the conversation, which lasted two and a half hours For example, she can apparently remember all the people and events in great detail (astonishing considering she was four years old at the time), and knew that a dog was being tortured and killed in the room below her, while she herself was sitting at a table was tied up.
At another point in the video, the Dutch woman goes into a forest with Kevin Annett and shows the place where a child was allegedly ritually murdered. But neither the exact location nor other clues are given.
The problem with Toos Nijenhuis' statement is that it cannot be proven on any point. This also makes it so easy for people who believe the statements to spread them, since you cannot provide counter-evidence where there is no evidence. Ms. Nijenhuis was unable to produce any scars or other old injuries to support her claims, her personal descriptions cannot be verified, and the alleged location where the ritual murder is said to have taken place is never mentioned.

The Bridge to Kevin Annett
Toos Nijenhuis' statements were made solely to Kevin Annett, who is no stranger (yes, we'll really get to him in a moment). The author Judy Byington, herself an ardent supporter of the conspiracy theory surrounding satanic ritual murders in the church, took up the topic and wrote an article about sexual abuse of children and ritual murders, which are said to have even been confirmed by a court. Byington herself also repeatedly contradicts herself
The confirming court, in turn, is the “International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State” (ITCSS), whose website no longer exists for a few months, but can still be viewed here . According to the old website, based in the “Republic of Kanata”, was founded on June 15, 2010 and mainly deals with crimes of the church and the state.
Now try Google Maps and try to find the “Republic of Kanata”. We will help you find:

In fact, Kanata is a suburb of Ottawa, Canada. But a republic? No. The "Republic of Kanata" is a fantasy state , conceived and founded by Kevin D. Annett , who for years that the Pope will be arrested "soon" - due to a ruling by the ITCSS, a tribunal consisting only of him. from which the “international arrest warrant” is said to have come.
Judy and Kevin
When searching further, it becomes apparent that the author Judy Byington and Kevin D. Annett have a special relationship:
for years, Judy has been posting the same article in different variations on a pseudo-news site, always relying on Kevin's statements D. Annett and his one-man tribunal:
Here is just a small excerpt of her work:

One can at least assume that Judy Byington and Kevin D. Annett are well disposed towards each other.

Conclusion
The statements in the sharepic are based solely on the claims of Kevin D. Annett, who designed a fantasy state including a fantasy court , of which he alone is the judge, lawyer and jury. The statements about the ritual murder are based on statements made by a Dutch woman to Annett, but their content is contradictory and cannot be verified.
For this reason, there is of course no valid international arrest warrant against Josef Ratzinger!
