Former American President Donald Trump was accused of falsifying business documents on 34 counts in a hush money scandal. A lot of fake pictures are now appearing on Twitter, and Donald Trump's son himself also shared one.

When former US President Donald Trump was already in court in New York to answer 34 counts of forging business documents, so-called “mug shots” or police photos were published on the Internet. The images present Trump, for example, in orange prison clothing or with a gaunt face in front of a concrete wall. However, all of the photos are fakes because no police photos of Trump were actually taken.

Note: The fake images are at the end of this article

Why wasn't a police photo taken?

Essentially, Trump was treated like any other defendant in the Manhattan court. He was fingerprinted and given a New York State identification number that can be used to track his criminal record in the future. However, there were no handcuffs or a police photo. This decision is at the discretion of law enforcement officers and is not mandatory.

Police photos are used by authorities to identify or locate a defendant if he or she flees. In the case of Donald Trump, the authorities consider the risk of flight to be low, especially since the 76-year-old wants to run for president again next year. Identification of someone who has been in the media for many years does not depend on a mugshot.

Fake arrest images were created using AI

In recent weeks there have been repeated images of Trump's alleged arrest, including clashes with police officers. However, these recordings are also fake and were generated using artificial intelligence. We HERE .

An overview of the most important participants in the process

The case against former US President Donald Trump over a hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels is making headlines around the world. The defendant: Donald Trump. The 76-year-old is the first former president in US history to be impeached. This is represented by an entire team.

The Accuser: Alvin Bragg

The 49-year-old is exposed to numerous verbal attacks from Trump and other Republicans.

The key witness: Michael Cohen

The lawyer Michael Cohen was a loyal follower of Donald Trump. Before the 2016 presidential election, he paid the porn actress Stormy Daniels the equivalent of around EUR 120,000 in hush money so that she would not reveal anything about an alleged affair with Trump. The repayment to Cohen by Trump's real estate empire is said to have been recorded unlawfully, and this is the focus of the indictment. Cohen himself was sentenced to 3 years in prison by the federal judiciary in 2018 for tax and financial crimes and for making false statements, including in the Stormy Daniels case. The 56-year-old is now a Trump critic. The Trump camp calls him a pathological, convicted liar.
