The video is currently being shared on social media. Among other things, there is a post from March 4, 2022 in which it is shown. We received inquiries about whether this was a current video and why people were celebrating here.

Donbass (southeast of Ukraine) celebrates and thanks Russia

Of course you won’t find it in the daily news
Of course, since it was posted on March 4th, it seems like there is currently a celebration going on in Donbass. This creates the image that Ukrainians would welcome, even celebrate, Russia's invasion. The accusation that nothing about this can be found in the Tagesschau uses the framing of the “lying press”.
Video is from February 21, 2022
On February 21, 2022, Putin announced that he would recognize the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics as independent states.
This has triggered quite different reactions. For pro-Russian separatists, this was a reason to celebrate.
A video about this was published by the FAZ .
It was also reported on with a photo series on RP online and SNA news
Conclusion
The story that is supposed to be sold here, that there is currently a celebration in Donbass, turns out to be false. The video is from February 21, 2022, when pro-Russian separatists celebrate Russia's recognition of Donetsk and Lugansk. Contrary to the accusation in the Facebook post, it was very well reported.
