A 79-year-old from Ludwigshafen was contacted by an unknown person via WhatsApp on Tuesday (September 6th, 2022). The person posed as the elderly woman's daughter. She allegedly had a bill of 3,500 euros to pay. The person then asked the 79-year-old to transfer the amount to an account. The woman from Ludwigshafen accepted the request and then transferred the money to the account via direct transfer.
