The Facebook page “Bali Vacation” is not an official resort page and lures users with alleged profit.

The Facebook page “Bali Vacation” promises 6 users a free trip. However, this is a fake site that has nothing to do with a real resort, travel agency or similar. This joins the list of current holiday competitions that can currently be found everywhere on Facebook.

Facebook page creators repeatedly use third-party identities to organize alleged competitions. They give the impression that they are official Facebook pages of well-known companies that have products to give away out of the blue.

However, the competition is just an excuse. The site also offers neither a proper imprint nor any other information about the organizer. The site has only existed since February 12, 2020.

Data brings money

Unfortunately, the actual purpose of these sites is limited to one thing: collecting data, selling magazine subscriptions and sending spam emails!

Even if you take part and think to yourself “Oh, if I play along, it won’t hurt anyone” – data always brings money and these sites will continue to exist in the future. Facebook pages that deceive you and make money from your personal data. Even a mere like maintains this type of page and harms you and your Facebook friends.

Note : Competitions regularly appear on Facebook and captivate Facebook users. They hope for a really big win but in the end they come away empty-handed. In these cases, only the site operator “wins”. We check competitions for their seriousness! This competition is not serious and deceives the participants. It doesn't meet Facebook's criteria and uses fake elements!

Fake Facebook pages repeatedly claim to be giving away expensive kitchen appliances, campers or cars. Finding testers for a brand is also a popular way to attract users. This scam is not new .
