Our cooperation partner Watchlist Internet warns about the almost perfectly fake site giesler-drogerie.com and gives helpful tips on how to recognize fake shops.

Fake Klarna payment process
Apparently you can pay at giesler-drogerie.com via Klarna instant transfer. We have tested the payment process. The criminals behind the fake shop forged Klarna's payment process. You will not be redirected to the real Klarna website, but to “www.origin-pay.com/[…] ” – a website that criminals use to steal your bank details.
Caution!
The web address www.origin-pay.com is similar to the web address of a real payment service provider.

Recognize fake shops
Check online stores where you are ordering for the first time. Fake shops appear very professional and appealing. When looking for a specific product, it is also very likely that you will come across a fake shop, as many are advertised in Google search results or on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Co.
How to recognize fake shops:
- Prices: If the prices are cheaper than in other online shops, you should be very careful! Compare prices on portals such as geizhals.at or idealo.at to find out the realistic price of a product.
- Search for experiences on the Internet: Enter the Internet address and “experiences” or “fake” into your search engine and read what others write about the shop. You may be warned.
- Payment options: Check the payment conditions to see which payment options are offered. If these are no longer available when you check out, it is a fake shop. At giesler-drogerie.com advance payment, invoice, cash on delivery and credit card are listed. Ultimately, only instant transfer via Klarna is available. Attention: You do not pay via Klarna. The criminals falsified Klarna's payment process to steal data.
- Imprint: Check the data in the imprint. You can check German companies and HRB numbers on handelsregister.de . Austrian information can be found in Companies AZ . You can also simply search for the company details on the Internet. Be careful: Many fake shops copy information from existing companies. Check carefully!
Have you ordered and provided payment details?
- Contact your bank. A card blocking may be necessary.
- Report it to the police .
