The four women pictured are Sibel Schick, Mieze Waziri, Sarah-Lee Heinrich and Çigdem Akkaya .
Are these statements true?
Sibel Schick
The statement: “Racism against Germans is right and important”
Assessment: According to Schick, the statement came from a day when she shared her Twitter account with an acquaintance. She forgot to set her abbreviation, so she deleted it straight away. The tweet was not saved in the usual Internet archives.
Kitty Waziri
The statement: “I wish Germany had been completely bombed in World War II. This country has no right to exist.”
Rating: This statement was made by you at the end of 2018 in a tweet that has since been deleted. Waziri, who called herself “La Pensadora” on Twitter, was no longer with the Greens in 2018. September 2014 to November 2015 she served as spokesperson for the Green Youth in Schleswig-Holstein. active for the Greens until 2016 .

Sarah Lee Heinrich
The statement: “At some point I will take a broom and sweep all the white people out of Africa.”
Rating: Yes, the statement actually comes from the current federal spokeswoman for the German Green Youth . However, there is an archived version . However, she was only 15 years old at the time of the tweet and only became chairwoman of the Green Youth years later. She also wrote this on October 10, 2021: “Ok then a few words about the second wave of attacks: There are screenshots of old tweets of mine circulating, some of which are vulgar or offensive. What is intentionally removed from the screenshots of tweets: They are from 2014/2015. I was 13/14 years old.” As well as “ Measure me and like to criticize me on my positions and my political work. I'm not going to explain everything I thought and said when I was 14, I'm not asking anyone to do that. Moral of the story: Don't write any shit on the internet! “You are welcome to use my story in the future at the kitchen table and at school as a deterrent example so that young people learn to use the Internet responsibly.”

Çigdem Akkaya
The statement: “People will finally say goodbye to the illusion that Germany belongs to the Germans”
Assessment: Akkaya told the Correctiv that she actually said this sentence in an interview with WAZ in the 90s, but that she felt misunderstood and emphasized that she thought that right-wing radicals had to say goodbye to the illusion that Germany only belongs to the Germans . It is unclear whether Akkaya was ever a member of the Green Party. There is no evidence for this.
