After the confirmed SARS-CoV-2 cases in the Heinsberg district, the virus has finally arrived in Germany. And with it another fake.
The summary of the picture “Buying hamsters in Heinsberg”:
The photo shows a man wearing a respiratory mask making a bulk purchase. According to a humorous picture description, the situation with panic buying in Heinsberg is escalating. However, the picture comes from Tyrol.
It's about a picture of a person wearing a respirator mask and standing at a checkout conveyor belt. It's not just the respiratory mask, but also the goods on the checkout conveyor that make the picture so interesting.

This picture is currently being shared widely on social media in the context that it is a hoarder purchase. You can also read the following text accompanying this picture:
The situation is already escalating in the Heinsberg district. Shelves empty and the local population taking extreme precautions.
As you can see from the “funny” mark, the following image accompanying the text is probably intended as a joke. But for everyone who doesn't recognize this joke: This picture doesn't come from the Heinsberg district!

Not Heinsberg, but Innsbruck
The picture was taken in Austria. Accordingly, we are not located in an “Aldi” branch. It is a small detail that makes this statement clear.
The photo itself can be found very often on social media, sometimes with incorrect captions, as in this case with “Heinsberg”.
If we all die, then be this hero who squeezes the Mignon shavings into his body in his last breath! #hamsters #coronavirus #tyrolischleioans

“Hofer” is written on the poster at the back left of the picture. Hofer is part of the Aldi Süd group of companies, hence the very similar logo. Accordingly, Heinsberg must be excluded as a location for recording. We already know about this photo:
The picture was taken in Tyrol. Incidentally, the man was not only in Hofer, but was also seen wearing a breathing mask in other supermarkets.
The man wanted to transport this amount of food, plus several packs of toilet paper, on a scooter. There is also a photo of this.
