Good luck and horrido! Every now and then you find a really lovely specimen in the depths of the internet.

And today again there is a greeting from the music kitchen. The music editorial team, which is no less busy on the internet 24/7 than the rest of the Mimikama editorial team, was amazed when they saw HP Baxxter from Scooter in an unfamiliar environment.

You not only saw Scooter's frontman in unfamiliar surroundings, but also heard him in an entirely unfamiliar style. Admittedly, if you weren't transported 30 years into the past, the sounds wouldn't be so unfamiliar.

Nevertheless, in all these years (with a few exceptions in which there is even a guitar) HP Baxxter has tended to be heard with a loud, combative voice; who doesn't still have sounds like “ FIRE ” or “ Faster, harder, Scooter ” in their ears.

In this respect, dear readers, from the music editorial team we present you the rather less well-known work “Will You Be There” by the group “Celebrate the Nun”, completely in the spirit of their time!

You can also find a short description of this video on the Facebook page “ Music Shop Eurotops

CELEBRATE THE NUN was the name of Scooter frontman HP Baxxter , with which he was active from 1989 to 1992. Although not very successful nationally, the second single “Will You Be There” still made it to number 5 in the US Billboard Dance Charts. Scooter continued in 1993 .

Even though this song wasn't that popular in Germany, it reached number 5 on the Billboard dance charts in the USA in 1990. So music like this was definitely appreciated in the States. In the late 80s, for example, the (imho excellent) band Camouflage with the title “ The Great Commandment ” landed at number 1 on the Billboard dance charts.

Ultimately, you have to view this song, as well as the appearance of the Scooter frontman, clearly in the zeitgeist of the late 80s. And if you laugh about it and are already old enough, you should look for photo albums with pictures of yourself from that time.
