You always read articles about the creation of so-called chimeras, i.e. hybrid animals. In particular, it is about pig-human beings.
In terms of content, many reports on the topic of “hybrid animals” and human-pig chimeras come from autumn 2016 and winter 2017. They read that human genetic material was planted in a pig embryo for the first time in the USA ( see here ).
This embryo formed different types of tissue, which is said to be a step towards the cultivation of human organs in animals. In Japan, research has now reached the point where breeding human-animal chimeras is permitted ( see here ).

However, there is a divide in reporting on this topic: While some report objectively on the topic, there are other web articles that use technically nonsensical images and create uncertainty.
These articles are often lurid and use images of a creature that is difficult to define and that visually appears to be something between a human and a pig.

Fact check hybrid animals
What we see in the picture has absolutely nothing to do with any research. We don't see mutated objects from any Frankenstein research here, but rather the works of the artist Patricia Piccinini .
Patricia Piccinini is an Australian multimedia artist best known for her hyperrealistic sculptures of human-animal hybrids. At the same time, she attracts viewers with ambiguous and confronting images and raises ethical questions such as biotechnology, genetic manipulation and humanity's intervention in the natural world. In addition to sculpting, she also paints and edits videos.

The image used shows her work called “The Young Family”. You can see pigs with human faces and extremities. These sculptures were made from fiberglass, plywood and leather, with the visible surface made from skin-like silicone and human hair.
The form of the depiction was deliberately chosen; the mother pig was depicted in such a way that it looks at the viewer with sad eyes while its babies feed on her. The pig was also deliberately used as a motif because it is often used for research and experiments.
Conclusion
The image is often used to criticize genetic engineering. But the artist wants to express exactly the opposite: Triggered by the death of her mother, who could have continued to live with a donor organ, her work shows a hybrid creature that, if it were real, could perhaps have saved her mother's life.
In her art, she shows chimeras not only as “livestock” for humans, but often in tender embrace with babies and children, as coexisting creatures alongside humans.
